Ashley Little has achieved a remarkable feat, emerging as the 2022 World FITASC Ladies Champion. Her journey to this prestigious title was not without challenges, as she made the courageous decision to switch from being a right-handed shooter to becoming a left-handed one. Undeterred by the difficulty of starting anew, Ashley persevered and climbed through the ranks once again to reach her ultimate goal.
Before her transition, Ashley was already experiencing success as a right-handed shooter, securing notable victories such as the Lady FITASC Champion and Lady K Cup Champion at Nationals, as well as earning recognition as the Florida Lady Sporting and FITASC Champion. Additionally, she was selected for the PSCA Tour and was an alternate for the Lady USA FITASC Team.
In November 2014, Ashley made the pivotal switch to becoming a left-handed shooter, based on the recommendations of esteemed figures in the shooting world, John Woolley and Wendell Cherry. Her commitment and dedication to honing her skills paid off, as she went on to become the current top-ranked Lady FITASC Shooter.
The pinnacle of her accomplishments came in 2022 when Ashley secured the title of Lady World FITASC Champion and Lady Beretta World Cup Champion. Her exceptional talent and consistency have also earned her three World FITASC Team Gold Medals, and she has represented the USA as a member of the Lady FITASC Team four times, even serving as its Captain once.
Ashley’s list of accolades is extensive, boasting two Beretta World FITASC Cup wins, an additional third-place finish, two Beretta North American FITASC Cup wins, and numerous Lady Champion event victories at both Nationals and the US Open. Her outstanding performance in various competitions has also earned her 26 top-three finishes in Lady events at Nationals and secured her a spot on 37 different First Team American teams.
