Over the past few years, James has quickly established himself as one of the top sporting shooters in the country. After dominating the junior category and claiming English, British, European & World titles James’ focus now turns to the open category and within 6 months has already climbed to be ranked #5 in the country in English Sporting. Some of James’ best achievements have been winning the 2018 European junior compak championship, the 2019 World ICTSF junior title, finishing runner-up overall at the British Open sporting in 2018, and winning the Beretta World title in 2020. As well as being a competitive clay shooters James is also a passionate game shooter and countryman. Having grown up on the family farm shooting came naturally from a young age and James owes most of his success to this. After spending every weekend in a hide usually protecting a field of cauliflower he learned much of his shooting ability from shooting wood pigeons.
