His teaching journey began in England, where he established the renowned shooting school, Fieldsports. John’s extensive knowledge and experience earned him recognition in the esteemed European sporting clays magazine, “Sporting Gun,” which featured his articles.
Throughout his career, John has achieved remarkable feats, including winning the World Professional Doubles Championship in 1987 and the Beretta World Sporting Clays Championship in 1990. Representing Great Britain multiple times on their four-man National Team, he proudly boasts an impressive collection of twelve gold medals and one silver.
Beyond his remarkable shooting career, John has become a prominent ambassador for wingshooting in the United States. His contributions to the sport have led to him being appointed as Captain of both the US Veterans Sporting Clays team and the Veterans FITASC team.
