Tom Seay

Tom Seay is the 2026 World FITASC Champion and one of the most accomplished competitors in the sport of sporting clays. He has competed on the NSCA Pro Squads since the program's inception, consistently competing alongside the sport's top professionals. Tom also competed in the Professional Sporting Clays Association (PSCA), showcasing his talent on the professional circuit during the organization's existence.

Tom's passion for shooting began at a very young age when his father introduced him to the sport on the family farm. Those early days behind the shotgun sparked a lifelong dedication to excellence and competition.

Recognizing Tom's natural ability and enthusiasm, his father sought professional instruction to help him develop his skills. At just eight years old, Tom began training with renowned instructor Wendell Cherry. Together, they spent many years building the fundamentals that would prepare Tom for success on the national and international stage.

Tom's competitive career began with early success, winning numerous tournaments and events that opened doors to compete at the highest levels of the sport.

Reflecting on his journey, Tom says:

"I began shooting when I was very young with my dad. We began shooting at the farm and I instantly fell in love with the activity. My dad realized I needed more formal training to get better, so when I was 8 years old he took me to Wendell Cherry for lessons. Wendell and I worked together for many years before I began traveling to competitions. I was fortunate to have early success and win several tournaments and events, which opened many doors and allowed me to build relationships throughout the sport that I value greatly."
