Justin Barker

Justin Barker is a competitive sporting clays shooter from Bonaire, Georgia, and the founder and host of Shotgun Sports USA.

Barker began shooting sporting clays in 2016 after growing up bird hunting with family and friends. What started as another way to enjoy shotguns quickly developed into an interest in competitive clay shooting. He began traveling to registered NSCA tournaments, competing at local, regional, and major events while gaining experience with different courses, target presentations, and target setters.

As an active National Sporting Clays Association competitor, Barker has spent years involved in the sporting clays community both on and off the course. His experience as a shooter eventually led him into shooting-sports media.

Barker originally created *Behind the Break*, a podcast focused specifically on sporting clays. In 2020, that concept grew into Shotgun Sports USA, expanding the focus beyond sporting clays to include FITASC, skeet, trap, hunting, shotguns, ammunition, equipment, and the people and companies that make up the shooting-sports industry.

As host of Shotgun Sports USA, Barker has interviewed competitors, coaches, Olympians, world champions, industry professionals, manufacturers, and other influential figures in shotgun sports. The show has become a platform for conversations about competition, shooting technique, equipment, hunting, and the personalities behind the sport.

Barker has also been involved with organized sporting clays in Georgia, including service within the Georgia Sporting Clays Association.

Today, he continues to compete in NSCA sporting clays while producing and hosting Shotgun Sports USA, combining his experience as a competitor, bird hunter, and media host with his involvement in the shotgun-sports community.
