[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I've got JoFineasy and Ty Crouch. So these are two guys from Texas A&M and they have come together with a passion for the sport and built something that's really cool.

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's called American Shotgunner. It's a website. We're going to get into that, how they got into this, what it's about and where they want to go with it.

[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_03]: So guys, welcome to the show. Thank you, Justin. Appreciate having us on tonight. We're very excited looking forward to it.

[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we're very grateful for this opportunity.

[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. You know, Joe called me and he was telling me about this and I said, he told me to go look at it. And I had seen somebody follow me on Instagram called American Shotgunner.

[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_01]: You know how it is when somebody follows you on Instagram? You're like, okay, I'll check them out later. Well, it's Joe.

[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And I said, well, you know, tell me about this. And he told me about it and it is crazy at the amount of data, real data that's in this website that tells you how you are doing and how you're progressing in the sport.

[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_01]: And you can see it for yourself and a bunch of other people and I mean we'll get into all that.

[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_01]: But so first off, Ty and Joe, tell me how this came about, how y'all met and all the way to where you are now.

[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Alrighty, I'll start. My name is Ty Crouch and I'll kind of, I'll start kind of a little bit about myself.

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_02]: So I was a competitive swimmer in high school and I was super into swimming and I realized, you know, I didn't want to do that in college.

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_02]: So the summer before college, I was at my dad's house and I went out with my uncle on a Wednesday night at our local club down in South Texas called Loma Alta.

[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And I shot for the first time. I'd never really shot before and went back to Houston to where my mom lives and I figured, you know, wow, I really like this stuff.

[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And I decided I want to get Clay shooting a shot. So I went back down to my dad's house and I took lessons all summer from this guy named Joe Paredes.

[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_02]: And awesome guy taught me how to shot very reasonable.

[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_02]: And I told my mom, my mom was all into it. My mom said, well, A&M has a team.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_02]: My mom said, you know, there's great people in that sport. You should try out for that team.

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe you can make it. You know, I'm not a great shot, you know, but got decent enough that I can make the team.

[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_02]: And I eventually met Joe and I can, I'll tell that story.

[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_02]: So every year A&M does this class picture and they have the class year, you know, our class is 2025.

[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_02]: So they took everybody out to Kyle Field and there had to be, you know, 15,000 of us or something.

[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_02]: They make the numbers, you know, 2025 out of people.

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_03]: That's what graduating was. We were in this would have been the fall of 2021.

[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, we were in the class of 25 for graduating year four years later.

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_03]: And basically they flag out the numbers on the football field the day before class starts.

[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_03]: So I think if I'm not mistaken class for us A&M started, I think on like a Tuesday.

[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_03]: So this would have been a Monday night or if it was on Monday, it would have been a Sunday night.

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_03]: And we all went out there and everybody's wearing maroon shirts.

[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_03]: So that's our colored A&M. And, you know, we're all out there on the field and I'm kind of like looking around

[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_03]: and I'm just kind of taking it in. I'm like, this is unbelievable.

[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_03]: There's 15 plus thousand students out here on the incoming class and I'm kind of looking all around

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_03]: and then this guy kind of makes eye contact with me and I had no idea who he was.

[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll let Todd finish the story from here pretty fine.

[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. So I kind of knew who Joe was. I'd like seen pictures and stuff, you know, get into shooting

[00:05:59] [SPEAKER_02]: and I was standing there at Kyle Field and there was this kid over there.

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And he looked like Joe when you stand there with nine, you know, beautiful blonde girls.

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I was sitting there. I was like, man, I think that's Joe Feneze.

[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to go up and say hi. So I walked up to him and I said, you shoot?

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_02]: And he was like, yeah. And then I met him and I thought, man, this must be some crazy sport.

[00:06:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Like he's got all these girls around him and, you know, eventually we had a meeting the next week for the team.

[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_02]: And Joe kind of like took me under his wing and was nice to me for no reason.

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And we became real good friends. We went out to the first practice together and we kind of share the same mindset

[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_02]: and mentality about life and the things we want out of life.

[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And we just became great friends.

[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_03]: It was it was cool. And that's that's one of the things that I love so much about A&M is that whole first week, you know,

[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_03]: A&M has a lot of in-state students from Texas and, you know, me being born and raised in a small town in Okeechobee, Florida.

[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_03]: It was a big change for me to go from living in Florida to now moving out to Texas and starting a new chapter in my life

[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_03]: in a town that, you know, had 70,000 college students in it and just, you know, kind of making that transition.

[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_03]: And what I realized about A&M is probably the best decision of my whole life because there's so many awesome students here.

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Texas A&M is a special place to where even though it's so big, it has a small town atmosphere

[00:07:21] [SPEAKER_03]: and it just has a lot to do with the culture and the traditions and the network that everybody buys into.

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_03]: And I've loved it so much over the last three or so plus years. Everybody that's been here would understand.

[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_03]: And if you haven't, I recommend you come out to Aggie Land and see it for yourself.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_03]: But I was asking Ty after the first time I met him real briefly out there on the field,

[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_03]: I caught up with them about a week later at the first Trap and Skeet meeting we had

[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_03]: and I was just trying to make small talks.

[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_03]: So I was like, hey Ty, you know, tell me a little bit about yourself and where are you from

[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_03]: and what are you studying? He told me he was studying engineering.

[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_03]: And I said, okay, that's awesome. Where are you living this year? You on campus, you off campus.

[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_03]: That's one of the main questions that you always ask.

[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_03]: And he's like, I'm actually living at an apartment complex in Northgate, the Northgate area.

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_03]: And I was like, oh really, that's cool to me too.

[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_03]: And there's probably five or six apartments up there at this time.

[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_03]: And I was like, where are you living?

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_03]: And he's like, I'm living at the tradition.

[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_03]: And I'm like, oh no kidding.

[00:08:17] [SPEAKER_03]: That's where I'm at too, man.

[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_03]: That's pretty cool.

[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_03]: It was like you in the A or the M building.

[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_03]: He's like, I'm in the A building.

[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Like dude, that's awesome. Me too.

[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_03]: What floor do you live on?

[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_03]: He's like a little on the second floor.

[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_03]: And that's exactly what floor I was living on too.

[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_03]: So it was just kind of meant to be and it was super cool.

[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_03]: And like Ty said, we hit it off and started shooting together

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_03]: and got to know each other really well and just ultimately became friends.

[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_03]: So that's how we know each other.

[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_03]: And now here three and a half, four years later, we've had a good time,

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_03]: you know, either going to sports games or going to shoot or, you know,

[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_03]: anything like that.

[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_03]: So it's been, it's been a cool couple of years going to know.

[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Now Ty, where have you, where have you been?

[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Have you been to nationals and what shoots have you gone to?

[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Man, I've been hardly any, to be honest with you.

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I've gone to, I've gone to national just to kind of look at

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_02]: like the Bender row and see how it all kind of works.

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_02]: And I've gone to Clayfest, which is that, you know, the NSC.

[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_02]: But besides that, just little shoots, nothing major like Joe.

[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Nothing crazy.

[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it's, it's crazy to see the size of, you know, the competitions

[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_01]: and how many people attend and how many people that are there

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_01]: that could use something like you've built.

[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, and Joe will give the credit.

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_01]: He's the guy that's actually put it to where we can see it.

[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?

[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it was a great team effort because, you know,

[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_03]: we brought different things to the table, but Ty, you know,

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_03]: is a very brilliant guy and, you know, he takes the credit for,

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_03]: you know, what you see today.

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, he worked very hard and it was, it was a team effort,

[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_03]: but Ty's just really smart and adds up to him.

[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we did it together without Joe's expertise

[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_02]: on shooting with what had never been possible.

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah.

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, team up.

[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about what I actually see on the computer

[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_01]: because I know Joe didn't do that.

[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I can't lie.

[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how to do that.

[00:10:07] [SPEAKER_01]: So tell me how this idea came about.

[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_01]: How did you know you all have met each other?

[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, you're hanging out two or three, four years later.

[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_01]: We've got American shotgun or how did it, how did this come about?

[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Alrighty, so we have a buddy named Cliff and he came to us

[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_02]: and he said, you know, I kind of want to do something

[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_02]: in clay shooting to kind of progress the sport and kind of,

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_02]: you know, maybe a business or just something that,

[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_02]: to like a passion project, something that we can do.

[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_02]: So we decided to pursue it and try to do something

[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_02]: and I came to Joe and I said, Joe, I came to them

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_02]: and I said, you know, from swimming,

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_02]: we have these apps like Meet Mobile, college swimming

[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_02]: and I go to a swimming, you know, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_02]: and I can get on there on Monday

[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_02]: and I can look at how I swim against other people

[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_02]: and I can see how our relay swim at my school

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_02]: against another school

[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_02]: and I can see how my arch nemesis swim

[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_02]: and, you know, see how he swam in Austin

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_02]: and where people are sneaking off

[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_02]: and what they're doing and all this stuff

[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_02]: and I said, there's nothing like this in clay shooting

[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_02]: and I said, with swimming, I could look someone's name up

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_02]: and I could see, oh, this guy's number two in Texas

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_02]: or always number two in Louisiana

[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_02]: or, you know, he's the number one projected pick

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_02]: for swimming to go to college or, you know, for anything

[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_02]: and I told Joe and I said, Joe,

[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how you legitimize clay shooting

[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_02]: without having something that does that

[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_02]: without having, you know, the stats and everything online

[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_02]: where you can go compare yourself

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_02]: and just see if you're getting better or not

[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_02]: because it's a very expensive game

[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_02]: to go to all the tournaments

[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_02]: to get the right instruction from great instructors

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_02]: to have the guns and to have everything

[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_02]: you got to spend a tremendous amount of money

[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_02]: and I told Joe, I said, there needs to be a way

[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_02]: that people can get on online somewhere

[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_02]: and be able to see am I getting better or not

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_02]: is this worth, you know, pursuing

[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_02]: or do I need to get instruction?

[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_02]: What should I do?

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_03]: And that's how this started.

[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Ty's exactly right

[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_03]: and he made a really good point

[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_03]: when he was talking about, you know,

[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_03]: what it takes to be a clay shooter

[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_03]: when you're committed either at a high level

[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_03]: in competition and you travel the tour

[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_03]: across the country and shoot all these big tournaments

[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_03]: or even if you're the recreational guy

[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_03]: going out on the weekend

[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_03]: when you really think about it

[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, anytime I go out onto a sporting clays course

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_03]: I see so many amazing high caliber people, you know

[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_03]: whether it be, you know, CEOs for big time companies

[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_03]: or doctors or lawyers

[00:12:33] [SPEAKER_03]: and even just a hard working guy

[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_03]: that goes out on the weekend once or twice a month

[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_03]: and when I think about it

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_03]: I was like, man, this is awesome

[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_03]: to kind of just see this sport

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_03]: and how passionate people are about it

[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_03]: and how serious they take it.

[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, growing up at a club myself

[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_03]: I can tell so many different stories

[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_03]: about when someone would come

[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_03]: for the first time for like a fundraiser event, you know

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_03]: and they have a borrowed 1,100 shotgun

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_03]: and they're buying ammo

[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_03]: and they have like those yellow safety glasses

[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_03]: that you can get a home depot

[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_03]: and they're like, man, this is fun

[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_03]: I want to come back next week

[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_03]: so then they come back

[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_03]: and next thing you know

[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_03]: they buy their own gun

[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_03]: and then they're getting, you know

[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_03]: really expensive Pila eyewear

[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_03]: then they have a buggy that they buy

[00:13:12] [SPEAKER_03]: then they upgrade to a new gun

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_03]: then I see them in a tournament

[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_03]: halfway across the country

[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_03]: and next thing you know

[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_03]: two, three years later

[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_03]: they're just completely bought in

[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_03]: and have honestly dedicated a big part

[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_03]: of their life to it.

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_03]: So when you think about the common denominator

[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_03]: of all those different types of people

[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_03]: being so passionate and you know

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_03]: involved with the game

[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_03]: you would think that they would like

[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_03]: to see where they're at

[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_03]: and where they're going

[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_03]: and how they can improve

[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_03]: and now honestly

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_03]: when Ty brought that up to me

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_03]: from a different perspective

[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_03]: of someone that's kind of coming into the sport

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_03]: I honored it

[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_03]: and I thought it was super neat

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_03]: and Ty is certainly a big reason

[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_03]: for my involvement with this platform

[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_03]: you know if anybody

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_03]: if someone just came to me

[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_03]: with the same exact idea

[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_03]: and I didn't know who they were

[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_03]: you know I'd still be interested

[00:14:03] [SPEAKER_03]: and listen

[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_03]: however I don't know

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_03]: if the excitement level would be at

[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_03]: an all time high

[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_03]: like it is for me right now

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_03]: and I'm not saying this

[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_03]: just because you know

[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sitting right here with Ty

[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_03]: or he's one of my best friends

[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_03]: but you know Ty's an incredibly

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_03]: talented individual

[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_03]: he's very passionate

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_03]: and he's someone that I can relate to

[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_03]: and those are the types of people

[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_03]: that I want to work with

[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_03]: you know those are the types of people

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_03]: that I want to surround myself with

[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_03]: so when Ty extended this opportunity

[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_03]: to be a part of American Shotgunner

[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_03]: you know I couldn't say no

[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_03]: and it's been a fun process

[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_03]: you know working to where we are now

[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_01]: talk about how you

[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_01]: how you too

[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I know you had to get together

[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_01]: put your heads together

[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_01]: talk about what you wanted to have in this

[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_01]: this project

[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_01]: and then building it

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_01]: the building part

[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Joe is

[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_01]: you know I'm kind of a nerd

[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_01]: when it comes to technology

[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_01]: the building part of it

[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_01]: is what amazes me

[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_01]: that Ty did all this

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_01]: like he did

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean it's just

[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_01]: it's crazy

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_01]: talk about

[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_01]: what you did

[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_01]: to gather your thoughts up

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_01]: and then how did you get it

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_01]: to where we can see it

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean how long did this take

[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_01]: what did you do

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_01]: you know

[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_01]: tell me that process

[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_02]: so first we just kind of brainstorm

[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_02]: what we were going to do

[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_02]: and we kind of identified some things

[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_02]: we wanted to do

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_02]: and then it was just

[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_02]: it was go time

[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_02]: giving lessons

[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_02]: all this crazy stuff

[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_02]: to find time together

[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_02]: that we could

[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_02]: we could get together

[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_02]: and work on this

[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_02]: like the project

[00:15:52] [SPEAKER_02]: took a lot longer

[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_02]: a lot of sacrifices had to be made

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah a lot of sacrifices

[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_02]: but it took a lot longer

[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_03]: it's hardly anything

[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_03]: not great with the computer

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not the most tech savvy

[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_03]: I have an obligation

[00:47:16] [SPEAKER_03]: and I'm looking forward to

[00:47:21] [SPEAKER_03]: that have opened

[00:47:22] [SPEAKER_03]: doors for me

[00:47:24] [SPEAKER_03]: ahead of me in the future

[00:47:26] [SPEAKER_03]: through the game of Clay Target Shooting

[00:47:28] [SPEAKER_03]: and that's what's so cool

[00:47:29] [SPEAKER_03]: is I love to compete

[00:47:30] [SPEAKER_03]: in Clay Target Shooting

[00:47:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Clay Shooting will always be

[00:47:32] [SPEAKER_03]: a huge part of my life

[00:47:34] [SPEAKER_03]: first and foremost

[00:47:35] [SPEAKER_03]: I love competing as a competitor

[00:47:37] [SPEAKER_03]: I love winning tournaments

[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_03]: I love having the opportunity

[00:47:41] [SPEAKER_03]: to represent the United States

[00:47:44] [SPEAKER_03]: shooting team

[00:47:45] [SPEAKER_03]: when we get to go overseas

[00:47:46] [SPEAKER_03]: all that kind of stuff

[00:47:47] [SPEAKER_03]: so shooting will always be

[00:47:48] [SPEAKER_03]: a big part of my life

[00:47:49] [SPEAKER_03]: but I do want to go

[00:47:50] [SPEAKER_03]: work in construction

[00:47:50] [SPEAKER_03]: it's another passion of mine

[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_03]: it's a career that I'm very excited about

[00:47:54] [SPEAKER_03]: and I have some ideas

[00:47:56] [SPEAKER_03]: but what's cool

[00:47:57] [SPEAKER_03]: is all of them

[00:47:58] [SPEAKER_03]: have kind of came through

[00:48:00] [SPEAKER_03]: people that I've met

[00:48:01] [SPEAKER_03]: through Clay Target Shooting

[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_03]: which is just such a great reason

[00:48:04] [SPEAKER_03]: to be involved with shooting

[00:48:06] [SPEAKER_03]: at the end of the day

[00:48:06] [SPEAKER_03]: it's cool going across the country

[00:48:08] [SPEAKER_03]: in the world to these tournaments

[00:48:09] [SPEAKER_03]: and competing

[00:48:09] [SPEAKER_03]: but when you really look back on it

[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_03]: you think about the people

[00:48:13] [SPEAKER_03]: you get to meet in this sport

[00:48:15] [SPEAKER_03]: there's nothing like it

[00:48:15] [SPEAKER_03]: very rarely will you come

[00:48:17] [SPEAKER_03]: across a bad person

[00:48:18] [SPEAKER_03]: and I think about my best memories

[00:48:20] [SPEAKER_03]: my hardest laughs
