In 2019 he was the Silver Medalist at the World English Sporting Clays Championship. While he was excited to have made a podium finish at the world championship at just the age of 16, he was also motivated and had a chip on his shoulder to work harder because he had been so close to achieving a life goal but was just short. Just weeks ago at the 2021 World FITASC Championship Joe had the honor of representing NSCA and Team USA in Hungary. After four days of competition Joe finished Silver Medalist once again at a World Event just a target shy of where he needed to be to bring home the gold medal and a world championship title. Joe believes the final result of this bittersweet outcome will make him a stronger individual and a better competitor in years to come.
In this episode Joe reveals his story and life timeline of what turned him into who he is today and how he will approach this upcoming chapter of his life and the new beginnings. As Joe embarks on this next chapter he shares how he is looking forward to continuing his passion of clay target shooting and that the best is yet to come. Joe makes clear that at the end of the day his main goal in shooting when it is all said and done is to be remembered as being a respectable person with good character because that means more to him than any title achieved or accomplishment reached.
